Rodolfo “Rudy” Chacon
Sports have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played soccer at Farmingdale State College, studied sports management, and eventually came back to Farmingdale as the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation — so when I say I understand the world of college athletics from every angle, I mean it.
My path has taken me through game operations, sports information, recruiting, and youth soccer administration. Along the way, I've learned that what makes sports special isn't just what happens on the field — it's the stories behind it. The grind nobody sees. The comeback nobody expected. The team that becomes a family.
That's what drew me to Storyline Sports. I know what these moments mean because I've lived them — as a player, as someone who's run the events behind the scenes, and now as someone who helps make sure they're captured the right way.
Whether we're covering a tournament or building a highlight reel, I bring the perspective of someone who's been on both sides of the sideline. Let's tell your story.

I started Storyline Sports because I believe every athlete deserves to see their hard work the way the people in the stands experience it —the energy, the intensity, the moments that make you hold your breath. That's what I chase with my camera.
For the past two and a half years, I've been on the sidelines capturing the action — from men's basketball and soccer to women's volleyball at Farmingdale State College. What started as a passion for visual storytelling quickly grew into something bigger. I realized the real magic isn't just in the footage — it's in the connections. The coach who tears up watching a senior night highlight reel. The parent who finally gets to see the play they missed. The athlete who watches it back and thinks, I did that.
That's why I do this.
